In Loving Memory Of ‘Pool Bar Jim’ Jim Lisenby Passed Away

Sadly, Jim Lisenby, often known as “Pool Bar Jim,” is no longer with us. Jim was the best food and beverage expert and businessman. He was a household name in the Hilton Head restaurant and bar industry, as well as in the Caribbean islands and the Carolinas.

Without a doubt, Jim’s beach cocktails and ice drinks were the best available. Jim’s quest for the ideal drink would take him to remote locations where the original recipes were made. It is true that Jim went on legendary trips to The Soggy Dollar, the birthplace of the Pain Killer, and deep into Havana to find the original Mojito.

Jim’s owned the renowned Jim’s Paradise nightclub, where many of the old school natives would dance the night away, as well as numerous watering spots along the island’s coastline.
